Jim's screenplay, JACK BODEAN, has been selected as a Quarterfinalist in the BlueCat Screenplay Competition!  BlueCat is regarded as one of the top ten screenplay competitions in the country.  The script's Quarterfinalist status means it's in the top 10% in a field of 3391 entries.  Finalists to be announced March 1.

In the rollicking and expansive America of the 1880s, a con man comes to a small town along the Mississippi.  What starts as a swindle turns into a last shot at redemption when he falls for the schoolteacher, and joins forces with her to save the town - from vampires!

Jim appeared on the new CBS drama ELEMENTARY on Thursday, November 8!  He played a passenger on a small plane whose actions led to dire consequences - or did they?

Jim created a video short, shot and edited on his iPhone.  It tells of an interesting discovery while he was performing in WEST SIDE STORY in Essen, Germany:

James Michael Reilly plays Glad Hand in the International Tour of WEST SIDE STORY!  Berlin's major newspaper Tagesspiegel said, "Das schauspielerischen Kabinettstuckchen gelingen daher vor allem den nicht tanzenden Erwachsenen, etwa dem vershwiemelt hochwasserhosigen Anstandswauwau Glad Hand (James Michael Reilly)."  You'd need to know hip Berlin slang to translate that, but I've been told it says something about the acting being successful.
