Jim appears in a Macaroni Grill commercial!

Spring 2014: this spot ran all over the country, network, cable, and internet!

Jim did a reading of a new musical, ONLY ANNE

Jim played Sir Walter in a staged reading of ONLY ANNE, a new musical with music by Will Buck and book/lyrics by John Dietrich.  Inspired by Jane Austen's Persuasion and set in the 1920s, this beautiful & complex piece was an opportunity for Jim to explore a lighthearted and foppish character - not for the first time...The reading was beautifully directed by Michelle Tattenbaum.

Appearance on NBC's THE BLACKLIST with Alan Alda and Jane Alexander!

Jim appeared on NBC's THE BLACKLIST, at the end of the episode titled "The Good Samaritan Killer."  He had the good fortune to work with Alan Alda and Jane Alexander, both of whom were a delight to work with - talented (of course), friendly, and collaborative.  Dan Lerner directed with a deft touch.

Jim gets a great review in the Daily Record!

In the review of OUR TOWN that ran in the Daily Record, the Asbury Park Press, the Courier News, and the Home News Tribune, C.W. Walker said, "Probably the best performance of the evening is delivered by company veteran James Michael Reilly...He is not only bemused and ironic, but also a little more self-aware than the others.  His pre-wedding conversation with his nervous son-in-law is particularly amusing."

Jim & his wife Nancy have launched a campaign on indiegogo to build Underhill, a green-roof house! Currently 50% complete, Underhill will have a full 12" of earth on its roof, supporting a full restoration of the woodland habitat in which the house is set.  The house will conserve energy, reduce stormwater runoff, minimize the urban heat island effect, and maximize habitat for plants & animals.  Visit
