In the fall of 2011, Jim played the sheriff, Heck Tate, in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey to sold-out houses! It was the highest-grossing show that STNJ has ever produced.
Jim played James Ahern, a researcher, on the Onion News Network's segment about a terrifying new diet drug! The job honed his ability to remain deadpan while discussing ridiculous things.
Jim played a doctor on the season 2 premiere of LOUIE, on the FX network! He was very impressed by Louis C.K.'s improvisational style, and his masterful grasp as director, actor, and writer.
Jim played Charles in BLITHE SPIRIT at the Delaware Theatre Company, March 2-20. Fans saw him caught in a love triangle between his deceased first wife and his living (and livid) second wife!
Jim played Grumio in The Taming of the Shrew at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, in a performance that the New York Times called "riotously dour."
