Jim played Major Cary, a Confederate Army officer, in BUTLER. It's a fantastic new play by Richard Strand, staged at the Majestic Theatre in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Set in 1861, the play dramatizes a little-known but important event at the outbreak of the Civil War, when three runaway slaves escaped to a Union-held fort and demanded asylum. Excellently directed by Joe Discher.
